I am pleased to welcome you to First Grade. The children are working hard to learn classroom guidelines and first grade procedures. I am working hard to set the stage for an exciting year of learning experiences.
It is a joy to build a positive relationship with each child. It is also a joy to get to know the parents/guardians of my students. Openness and good communication between parents and teacher are crucial to the child's total school experience.
Please know that I am available to talk to you in the morning at 8:30 a.m. about any questions or concerns throughout the school year. I am out on the playground Tuesday mornings beginning at 8:40.
